Creamy beef tartare with relish
Pour 2 personnes
2 tablespoons Toundra cucumber relish
1 tablespoon capers
1 French shallot, chopped
1/4 cup water
3 tablespoons red wine vinegar
1 tablespoon of white sugar
6-8 sprigs of chives, chopped
1 tablespoon of mayonnaise
1 tablespoon of whole-grain dijon mustard
1 spoon teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
220g beef fillet
1 half baguette, sliced
salt & pepper
Preheat the oven to 400°F.
Place the baguette slices on a baking sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes to make croutons.
In a bowl mix the relish with the capers, the chives, mayonnaise, mustard, Worcestershire sauce.
Put the water, red wine vinegar, sugar and chopped shallot in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil.
Remove the saucepan from the heat and leave to marinate for 3-4 minutes.
Drain then add the shallot to the bowl with the other ingredients.
Cut the beef into small cubes then add to the bowl. Mix. Salt and pepper to taste.
Serve cold beef tartare with croutons.
